$2 in Adsense Earnings

I earned $2 in adsense earnings today even though my page impressions were not very high.

It all depends on the click through rate.

I also noticed that my earnings are generally higher for wednesdays and thursdays so I try to time the release of any blog posts till then.

I earned a record breaking $4.85 on 23 Sep 2009 through Google's Adsense. Have my months of hardwork finally paid off?

It is indeed not that simple to earn money using adsense. After a few hundred postings, I have only managed to average $0 to $4.85 per day. In order to be a full time blogger, I reckon that one needs to earn $200 per day.

Based on my traffic count of around 200 views per day, i need to increase traffic to my website by about 100 times!!!

That is like 20,000 views per day. What kind of content must I provide to get that kind of readership or should I say viewership?

Adsense Earnings for Wednesday 15.10.08

Just when I was lamenting that my adsense earnings did not seem to be improving, today's adsense earnings have hit $1.69 ! And today is not even over yet..

Will today be the day that I see my Adsense earnings cross the $2 barrier mark?
I certainly hope so.

So what is the possible explanation for the increase in adsense earnings? I noticed that though my traffic has decreased substantially, but the click through rate has increased thus resulting in a higher payout. This however only occurs on certain days as my adsense earnings for certain days can still be $0.00.

Another thing I did was to remove adsense from some of my websites that had traffic but had little clicks. Maybe that helped to improve my adsense earnings too.

Time to pop the champagne? Maybe not. Let's see how much more my adsense earnings can go up for today.
