Keyword Density

We all know that keywords are very important especially when it comes to getting your pages ranked on top by the search engines. Keyword density is basically the number of times your keyword appears out of the total number of words of your article.

Keyword density used to be an important criterion for webpage rankings but because of the abuse of it, plays a much less important role right now. In fact, using your keyword too many times in your article could result you in being penalised by the search engines. It is thus better to write normally instead of cramming your articles with certain words.

It is said that the keyword density that is the most optimal now is around 1 to 3 percent. That means for a 300 word article, the number of times a certain keyword appears should not be more than 3 to 9 times. If you just look at this article alone, I guess you can see that I have not really obeyed the rules. In fact, it can be quite difficult to stick to the rules and requires a lot of discipline.

So stop spamming your own articles and penalising yourself from the search engines. Write with an objective in mind. Try not to outsmart the search engines as Google and the like are always searching for better methods to rank webpages.

Content at the end of the day is King. Good content will draw readers. Readers will refer their friends to your website if they really find it useful. Good content in a website is a much better way than trying to outsmart the search engines.

Blogging Blitz

I have decided to start on a new campaign that I will call Blogging Blitz. The goal of my campaign is simply this:

I will have until the end of this year to own a total of 100 sites/blogs. Each blog and site will have minimally 10 posts.

So there you have it. 100 blogs with 10 posts!

I reckon that with this kind of "real estate" on the internet, my ability to grow my online income can only increase. This will also aid to increase my overall adsense earnings.

Record Page Impressions

I had another new record. A total of 459 page impressions in a single day. I find it almost hard to believe it.

Adsense Earnings was $3.72 for the day.

Adsense Earnings $1 per day

I have managed to achieve a steady adsense earnings of $1 and more per day for the last one week. After one entire year of laboring and fumbling through blogging and adsense, it has become much clearer to me how to earn money using adsense.

Sometimes, it really pays to just find out more about how adsense works from the true experts. Many times, we allow our skeptism to take over and think that these people are conmen out to make a living. But I do sincerely believe now that it is truly possible to make more than $1 per day using adsense. I have put in some effort and already my efforts are bearing fruit.

The greatest joy comes when I check my adsense account during the week and find that I have actually made some money even when there was little activity on my part.

Adsense Earnings for 27 Sep 09

Adsense earnings was $1.31 for 27 Sep 09. Overall page impressions also managed to increase to over 300. Hope I am able to keep up with the good work that I have done so far from increasing my adsense earnings from $1 per day to $2 per day.

On the blogging side, I have started work on a new blog. You can find it here.

I am deciding how I can increase my adsense earnings exponentially. Should I create more blogs (let's say 100 blogs) that will each earn me $1 per day or should I create a single website that can earn me $100 per day?

Adsense Earnings

Adsense Earnings for Saturday was $2.57

The past few days, adsense earnings have been fluctuating around the $2 mark. If possible, I hope to pull up my overall adsense earnings to $4 per day. This would require some effort on my part.

Record Page Impressions

I hit a record page impressions of 309 for Friday.

Total adsense earnings for that day was however only $1.89

This has indeed proven to be a record breaking week for me.

299 Page Impressions

I had 299 page impressions on Thursday which is a new record for me again.

This 299 page impressions translated to $2.60 in Adsense earnings for the day.

Adsense Earnings for 23 Sep 09

I earned a record breaking $4.85 on 23 Sep 2009 through Google's Adsense. Have my months of hardwork finally paid off?

It is indeed not that simple to earn money using adsense. After a few hundred postings, I have only managed to average $0 to $4.85 per day. In order to be a full time blogger, I reckon that one needs to earn $200 per day.

Based on my traffic count of around 200 views per day, i need to increase traffic to my website by about 100 times!!!

That is like 20,000 views per day. What kind of content must I provide to get that kind of readership or should I say viewership?

Earned $15 for August 09

I earned close to $15 for the month of August 09. Nothing spectacular really. I wish that I could increase this by ten fold or twenty fold.
